"Arrived Melted and Confusing Updates"
The chocolates showed up melted and kind of smashed, which was disappointing. I was also a bit confused because the email said one thing about the delivery/status, but what actually happened seemed different. Overall, not the experience I was expecting.

The signature chocolates looked really cute, but the taste was boring to me. I know a lot of people seem to get excited about them, but compared to other chocolates I’ve tried, these didn’t really stand out.

"Dietary info was way too hard to figure out"
I was trying to place an order on burdickchocolate.com, but the dietary options were kind of a mess. Like, I just wanted to know what was dairy-free, vegan, or allergy-safe without having to click through a bunch of pages and guess. For chocolate that costs this much, I figured the labels would be way clearer, or there’d at least be more obvious choices. If you can eat anything, you’ll probably be fine, but if you’ve got restrictions, it feels like they didn’t really think that part through. I got annoyed and ended up not ordering

"Good chocolate, but whoever runs this needs to fix the packaging"
The chocolate itself was actually really nice, no complaints there. But the box showed up a little crushed and the inside looked messy, which was disappointing. For the price, I expected it to be packed way better. Whoever runs this really needs to sort out the packaging, because I’m not sure I’d order from here again if it’s meant to be a gift

"Is it just me, or is the site hard to use?"
I tried browsing the site on my phone, it felt cramped. The pictures loaded kind of weird, and I kept getting frustrated trying to find what I was looking for. Maybe I’m being picky, but it just felt messy and not very easy to navigate

"I’ll admit, this chocolate does feel premium..."
I’ll admit, this chocolate does feel premium and it tastes great. The texture was smooth and rich, and I remember the wrapper made this weird little crinkly sound that somehow stuck in my head. My only real complaint is the price, it’s good, but I’m not sure I’d buy it all the time

"Good chocolate, slow shipping"
The chocolate was actually good, no complaints there.. but the shipping took longer than I thought it would. Not a huge deal or anything, just felt kinda slow for what I paid. It did show up fine in the end, so I’d give it 3 stars.

"Website was too frustrating to use"
I tried ordering some chocolate, but the website was kind of a pain. Like I said, it just felt clunky and confusing, and the pages were loading slowly. The cart was annoying too, and I had to click around way too much just to find basic things. After a while I gave up. Like I said, for a nice chocolate shop, the website really needs some work.

"Not as good as it used to be"
I stopped by the Burdick cafe and was disappointed. I remember it being a lot better before, so this visit was a letdown. The line took forever, and the staff seemed kind of annoyed when I asked a simple question. My hot chocolate was barely warm, and the table I sat at was sticky. For what they charge, I expected a much nicer experience. I don’t think I’d make a point to go back.

"Was hoping it would be better"
I really wanted to like this chocolate, but it just didn’t hit the mark for me. The flavor tasted kind of bitter and flat, and it wasn’t creamy at all like I was expecting. I kept trying another piece thinking maybe it would grow on me, but it just wasn’t enjoyable. Maybe I got a bad batch, but I don’t think I’d buy it again.

i mean, I’ve tried ordering twice now and both times the stuff I actually wanted ended up being out of stock. The site still makes it seem like you can browse and select things like they’re available, which is frustrating.

"Good chocolate but too pricey"
The chocolate tasted good but the portions were really small for the price. Once I added shipping it felt even harder to justify. I was expecting something a lot more special so I probably would not order it again

"Great chocolate, but customer service could be better"
I really do like their chocolate, it’s the main reason I keep ordering, although after this last experience I’m kind of second-guessing that a little. I had an issue with my order and emailed customer service, but it took a few days to get a response. When they finally replied, it was short and didn’t really answer everything I asked, so I had to follow up again. It wasn’t a total disaster or anything, but for what they charge, I expected the support to be a lot more helpful and responsive.

"I really wanted to like this..."
I really wanted to like this chocolate, especially for the price, but the ingredient list kind of threw me off. A few pieces were way sweeter than I expected and didn’t taste super fresh to me. From a fancy chocolate shop, I guess I was just expecting something a little cleaner or better quality, you know? Maybe some people won’t care about that, but for me it was disappointing and I probably wouldn’t order it again.

"Wrong chocolates in my order, which was frustrating"
I ordered a few specific chocolates as a gift, so I was really hoping everything would be correct, but the box came with the wrong items and a few flavors were missing. The chocolate definitely had a fancy vibe to it, and I can see what they were going for. That said, the flavors felt a little uneven to me. It leaned bitter overall, and I kept wishing there was just a bit more sweetness to balance it out.

"I was planning to order this as…"
I was planning to order this as a gift, and from the looks of it, the chocolate seems fancy enough to make a good impression. Unfortunately, the allergen info wasn’t nearly as polished as the product photos. Some items had ingredients listed, but I couldn’t really tell what the deal was with shared equipment or possible cross-contact. For chocolate at this price point, I kind of expected the allergy details to be easier to find and all in one place. I ended up not ordering, which was disappointing.
